It's Throwback T.V. Thursday.

I'm about to seem very old, so be warned.

My parents were pretty strict about what we were allowed to watch, but they didn't know that my brothers watched

The Dukes of Hazzard when they weren't home.

And Masters of the Universe

We used to watch The Muppet Show on Sunday evenings after the Wonderful World of Disney.

I liked Pigs in Space and my favourite muppet was Scooter. My brother Arden loved Rolf the dog who played the piano. We called my sister Miss Piggy which was mean, but at the time, hilarious. Plus I'm a way bigger actual food pig than she is.

We also watched Little House on the Prarie, which I think was on just before supper.

I had the box set of the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder as well and I loved them a lot. I had the blue box set. They also made it in yellow and I used to have this weird Inception-like thing going on where if I wasn't sure if I was dreaming, I would go and see what colour my Little House books were. If they were Yellow, I knew I was dreaming. Weirdo alert.

I remember the first TV we had that had a "remote control" which was on a long cord.

Who remembers this? City TV on channel 56.

2 - TVO

3 - GLOBAL

4 - Detroit NBC

5 - French Channel

6 - CBC

7 - ABC Detroit

... that's all I remember. How could I forget?

Get ready for this. Are you sitting down? The T.V. that I took to University for my room in residence was -

Would You Rather Wednesday - WITH ANSWERS!!!

As promised, here are FIVE Would You Rather questions for you to answer.

1. Would you rather go skiing or go to a water park?

Okay, here's the thing. I enjoy skiing in the alps. I don't enjoy skiing on the local bump. And if that makes me a horrible human being and a snob, then I'm okay with that.

But I LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney Water Parks. And I can't stand being cold. So I'm going to say Water Park. But it must be a Disney water park. See snob comment above.

2. Would you rather be able to shrink down to the size of an ant any time you wanted to or be able to grow to the size of a two-story building anytime you wanted to?

I feel that if I had the ability to grow that big, it would be a problem when I was angry. A lot of people would get stomped or flung far distances.

Also, if I were ant sized, the cake crumb potential is IMMENSE.

3. Would you rather be able to talk to dogs or cats?

My cat wouldn't speak to me even if he could, so I'm going to say dogs. I have two big golden retrievers. Mickey Mouse would want to talk to me all day long about my hopes and dreams. Mortimer would want to tell me what he wants to eat.

4. Would you rather live on a sailboat or in a cabin deep in the woods?

Even the sight of that snow makes me need to look away. I would want the sailboat. But I don't want to have to heave the masts or how the sails or whatever. Because snobbery and weak muscles.

5. Would you rather be able to change colors like a chameleon or hold your breath underwater for an hour?

I think the colours. I made my hair purple and that has turned out better than expected so maybe the rest of me could be different colours as well. 

Like what if I could make my eyelids different colours and it looked better than my makeup application?
